The captain of the men’s biathlon team, Dmitry Pidruchny, responded to the functionary’s statement.
Ukrainian on Instagram-story said that this statement is a lie.
“And again is a lie. This time the latter,” Pidruchny wrote.
Recall that naturalized Belarusian Daria Blashko and Russians Nadezhda Belkina, Olga Abramova and Ekaterina Bekh compete for Ukraine in biathlon, and Anastasia Rasskazova at the IBU level, and Oksana Moskalenko at the junior level.
Earlier, Dmitry Pidruchny entered a fight with the Fourcade brothers, who condemned the suspension of Russian and Belarusian athletes. Simon Fourcade replied to Pidruchny and commented on his attitude to the war in Ukraine.
