US Olympic champion suspended for three years for anti-doping rule violation

Olympic track and field champion, USA Randolph Ross suspended for three years for an anti-doping rule violation. On this subject reported press service of the independent athletics organization Athletics Integrity Unit.

The athlete’s period of suspension begins June 1, 2022 and ends June 30, 2025. All results posted in competition since June 18, 2022 will be void.

Ross was suspended ahead of the Eugene World Championships on suspicion of whereabouts violations. It was his third offense in 12 months.

At the hearing, the 21-year-old athlete pleaded guilty.

Ross is the Tokyo Games champion in the 4x400m relay.
