The president National Olympic Committee of Ukraine Vadim Gutzeit announced that the NOC will increase financial assistance to national federations.

Preliminarily, the NOC of Ukraine plans to increase the budget for supporting federations by 50% in 2023, namely, the administrative grant, which will amount to 3.2 million hryvnia, as well as by 30% the support fund for the rating system, totaling 5.1 million hryvnia .

“Now it is very important to make every effort to prepare our athletes for participation in qualifying competitions and performances for obtaining licenses for the 2024 Olympic Games. It is very important that our Ukrainian flag flutters at various international competitions. The victories of our Olympians at the sports Olympus bring Ukraine’s victory over the enemy closer,” Gutzeit said.

“Therefore, I ask all federations to actively participate in the preparation of these competitions. And we, for our part, will strengthen the support of national federations, including financial ones.”

Gutzeit was elected as the new president of the NOC of Ukraine in November. The Minister of Youth and Sports of Ukraine during the voting won more than 80% of the votes.
