Ukraine made it to the finals of the men’s 4x50m freestyle relay at the 2022 World Cup in short course swimming

Men’s national team of Ukraine made its way into 4x50m freestyle relay final on the short course world championships (25 m), which takes place in Melbourne (Australia).

In the preliminary heat, the Ukrainians finished fifth and showed a time of 1:26.53. In the final classification, they become eighth and made it to the medal swim.

Our team included Andrey Govorov, Ilya Linnik, Vladislav Bukhov and Alexander Zheltyakov.

Teams from the Netherlands, USA, Italy, Japan, Australia, Brazil and Spain will also compete in the 4x50m freestyle relay final at the 2022 World Cup. The medal swim will take place today, December 15, at 12:54 Kyiv time.

Recall that in Melbourne Govorov for the first time in his career did not overcome the qualification for the 50m butterfly at the World Championships in short course swimming. Linnik and Vladimir Lisovets also did not qualify for their finals.
