Our athletes were the best in the snatch
Ukrainian women Irina Deha and Alina Marushchak won small gold and silver at the World Weightlifting Championships in Bogota (Colombia).
In the weight category up to 81 kg, Ukrainian women showed two best results in the snatch. Dekha lifted 122 kg, and Alina Marushchak – 119 kg.
In the clean and jerk, the Ukrainians performed unsuccessfully and did not make it into the top three in the sum of two exercises. Deha took 138 kg and finished fourth. Maruschak lifted 137 for sixth place.
Earlier, at the 2022 World Weightlifting Championships in Bogota, Ukrainian Kamila Konotop won a small bronze medal in the snatch.
