– I myself will be in Krasnoyarsk, I will comment on ice dancing. This Russian championship, first of all, looking to the future. It is very interesting to watch who will lead our team in the years to come, how they will manifest themselves. And it won’t necessarily be the ones who win medals now.
More important is the potential that is visible even if the athlete is not successful. I will probably focus on those guys. Of course, I wish everyone good luck, because the title of Russian champion is a historic title. I know that figure skating is very popular in Krasnoyarsk. I think these performances will be a gift for everyone, – said Averbukh.
The Russian figure skating championship will be held in Krasnoyarsk from December 22 to 25.
