The Romanian has a valid contract until the summer of 2024
Management Dynamo and head coach of the white and blue Mircea Lucescu decided to continue cooperation.
Next week, the president of Kiev, Igor Surkis, will meet with the Romanian mentor. The meeting will be held in Monaco, during which topics will be discussed to strengthen the squad for the second part of the season.
Dynamo will hold winter training camps in Turkey from January 20 to February 20. The club has tentatively scheduled 12 test matches.
Recall that Mircea Lucescu was ready to leave the team after losing to Benfica in the playoffs of the Champions League qualification. The coach admitted that he had lost control of the situation at the club.
The Kyiv club is now on vacation. The team plans to meet for a scheduled medical examination and a pull-in training camp on January 12.
Mircea Lucescu’s wards did not make it to the Eurospring, leaving the group stage of the Europa League. In the standings of the UPL, the Kievans occupy the third position.
The team will play its next match within the Ukrainian championship in the spring. As part of the 16th round, Dynamo will meet with Ingulets in a home match, the base day of the tour is March 4.
