Biathlon. World Cup: Legrade wins pursuit, Prima in top 10

The Norwegians occupied the entire podium at the start.

On Saturday, December 17, as part of the Biathlon World Cup stage in French Annecy, a men’s pursuit race was held.

The winner of the race was Norway’s representative Sturla Legrade, who made only one miss in four firing lines. The final time for Norwegian is 29.44.1.

Second place went to Vetle Schostad Christiansen. The athlete in the last shot made two misses, which did not allow him to win. Remarkably, Christiansen started in tenth and managed to move up to eighth place.

Sprint winner Johannes Boe failed to defend the championship in this race, but did not leave without a medal. The legendary biathlete managed to win the bronze medal, losing to the leader by more than 35 seconds.

As for Ukrainian athletes, Artem Pryma showed the best results. The Ukrainian only made a mistake in the last shot, but it did not prevent him from climbing into the top ten, as he started in 18th. Anton Dudchenko made five misses in four shots, which affected his position – worsened the result in several places. Anton Tsymbal, who started 44th, entered the points zone at the end of the race.
