Coach Le Bleu will know the situation with sick players by the evening
France head coach Didier Deschamps commented on the mood of the team for the final match World Cup 2022 with Argentina.
“I have no anxiety or stress. When preparing for such a match, it is important to remain calm. The World Cup final is one match, but it also has a special context. I know that the Argentines, and perhaps some of the French, would also like to see Messi win the title.”
“There are unforeseen circumstances, situations to which you need to adapt. We have done our best to have a good fit for tomorrow’s game against Argentina.”
“[Относительно заболевших игроков] I don’t have the latest information. We’re trying to cope as best we can, calmly. I’ll get the data tonight and tomorrow to make sure we’re ready for this big game. We tried to take all possible precautions, adapt and cope. It would be better if this situation did not exist, of course. But we did our best.”
Deschamps had previously said defender Dayot Upamecano and midfielder Adrien Rabiot would return for the final. At the same time, defenders Ibrahim Konate and Rafael Varane, as well as winger Kingsley Coman, risk missing the final.
The final match of the 2022 World Cup between France and Argentina will take place on December 18 at 17:00 Kyiv time. The meeting will be judged by the Polish team of judges headed by Szymon Marciniak.
