France and the United States broke world records in relay races at the World Cup

National team France broke the world record in the mixed 4x50m freestyle relay at the World Short Course Swimming Championships in Melbourne, Australia.

The French covered the distance in 1 minute 27.33 seconds. Previously the world record was held by the US team of 1:27.89 (2018).

National team UNITED STATES (6:44.12) broke the Brazilian record in the 4x200m freestyle relay (6:46.81).

Canada’s Margaret McNeill broke the world record for the 50m backstroke swimming in the final with a time of 25.25, 0.02 seconds faster than her 2021 record. is imposed on this distance – 22.64.

The 200m breaststroke was won by Keith Douglass (USA) in 2:15.77 and Daiya Seto of Japan (2:00.35). In the 100m medley, Marrit Steenberg (Netherlands) 57.53 and Thomas Ceccon (Italy) 50.97. Australian Lani Pallister won the 1500m freestyle in 15:21.43.
