Southgate will officially continue with England

England rivals Ukraine in Euro 2024 qualifiers

The Football Association of England (FA) has confirmed that Gareth Southgate to remain England manager and will be work until the end of Euro 2024. Southgate’s assistants, led by First Officer Steve Holland, will also continue to work.

“We are delighted to confirm that Gareth Southgate remains England manager and will lead our campaign for Euro 2024. Gareth and Steve Holland have always had our full support and our planning for the Euro starts now,” the FA said in a statement.

Earlier it was reported that Southgate decided to remain at the head of the national team. The current contract of the 51-year-old coach with the FA runs until 2024.

Recall that the England national team will compete with Ukraine in qualifying for Euro 2024. At the 2022 World Cup, Southgate’s team reached the quarter-finals, where they lost to France (1:2).
