Stanislav Pozdnyakov, the current head of the Russian Olympic Committee, reacted to the news with a relevant post on social media.
“Today ended the two-year World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) sanctions, which were imposed following the CAS decision on December 17, 2020. Predictably, there is no there was no reason to extend these measures and there could be none. This page is closed,” Pozdnyakov wrote on his Telegram channel.
