European champion Maria Kameneva won the 50m backstroke at the Vladimir Salnikov Cup, held in St. Petersburg.
Kameneva showed the result of 25.68 seconds. Aleksandra Kurilkina (26.64) was second, Anastasia Shkurdai (26.87) of Belarus was third.
Five-time European champion Anna Egorova took first place in the 400-meter freestyle – 4 minutes 1.84 seconds. Silver went to Valeria Salamatina (4:04.23), bronze to Anastasia Guzhenkova (4:10.83).
World Championship Medalist Daria Ustinova became the winner of the 100 meter freestyle (53.27 seconds). The second result was shown by Arina Surkova (53.52), the third by Daria Trofimova (53.55).
Anastasia won the 100m medley Shkurdai (59.07). Second was Irina Shvaeva (1:00.36), third was Yana Shakirova (1:00.68).
Surkova won the 100m butterfly (56.60). On the second line is Anastasia Markova (57.81), on the third – Daria Klepikova (57.99).
Silver medalist at the European Championships Evgenia Chikunova won the 100m breaststroke (1:04.31). Tatyana Belonogoff was second (1:04.96), while Belarusian Alina Zmushko was third (1:05.41).
In the women’s 4 × 50 m freestyle relay, the St. Petersburg team won (Kurilkina, Surkova, Daria Tatarinova, Alexandra Kuznetsova – 1: 37.83). The second place was taken by the team from the Novosibirsk region (1:37.98), the top 3 was closed by the team from Moscow (1:39.23).
The contest will end on December 18.
