At the meeting of the executive committee of the SEHA – Gazprom League, the composition of the participants of the “Southern Division” was approved, reports the press service of the handball tournament.
Tournament participants included 8 teams from 5 countries.
The full list of participants is as follows: Vardar 1961, Europharm Pelister (both in North Macedonia), Nekse, Zagreb (both in Croatia), Partizan, Vojvodina (both in Serbia), ” Tatran (Slovakia), Telekom Vesprem (Hungary).
In the group stage of the tournament, six teams will perform, which will form two groups of 3 teams. Last season’s winner Telekom Veszprem, along with runners-up Zagreb, will start their performance from the quarter-finals.
In the ¼-final stage, the teams will play two games against each other, and the winners will have the opportunity to play in the Final Four of the SEHA – Gazprom League “Division South”, which is scheduled for April 21-23, 2023. The tournament season will end in June next year.
