Ukrainian male athletes can leave the country within 30 days to compete.
The Cabinet of Ministers changed the rules for men of military age to travel abroad. It will be recalled that earlier they were banned from leaving the country during martial law. Today, certain categories of citizens are allowed to travel, including athletes.
According to the innovations, from now on, the following have the right to leave within 30 days:
– athletes of national Olympic and non-Olympic sports teams;
– people who provide training for athletes;
– sports judges and other specialists who provide organization, medical support and control against doping.
At the same time, in order to travel abroad, it is necessary to take the appropriate decision from the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine.
