Trusova commented on the absence of the Russian championship in Krasnoyarsk

Alexandra Trousova regrets having to miss the Russian Figure Skating Championship in Krasnoyarsk due to illness.

Earlier, FFKKR reported that Trusova withdrew from the Russian championship in Krasnoyarsk due to medical reasons. Friday single skaters must present their short programs.

– Unfortunately, due to illness, I will not be able to participate in the Russian Championship in 2023. I look forward to seeing you on the ice next time. Thank you all for your support,” Trusova wrote on social media.

Trusova is a silver medalist at the 2022 Olympics in Beijing, a bronze medalist at the World Championships and a two-time bronze medalist at the European Championships. She is the first figure skater in history to perform a quadruple lutz, toe loop and flip in competitions under the auspices of the International Skating Union. Since December 16, the 18-year-old sportsman has been a columnist.
