Igor Lutsenko became Chaika’s temporary mentor

The official presentation of the new coaching staff will take place during the winter training camp

As became known sports arena, interim head coach of the second-league Chaika became Igor Lutsenko.

At the same time, the club’s management is in search of a new coaching staff. The leadership of the club from the Kyiv region plans to announce the appointment during the winter training camp.

Igor Lutsenko played for Chaika in the first round, scoring one goal in nine matches. Previously, the 36-year-old player represented a number of PFL clubs, including MFK Nikolaev and Helios.

In the first part of the season Chaika was led by Denis Khomutov. Under his leadership, the team won five victories in 10 rounds and takes third place in the Second League standings.

In winter, Chaika plans to take part in the PFL Winter Cup. The club will resume the season with a game against Niva, which is scheduled for April 8.
