The Shooting Union of Russia (SSR) at a meeting of the executive committee summed up the results of the outgoing year, and also approved the competition rules for 2023, the head RSS website .

— The year was not easy, but together we took up the challenges that arose, managed not to stop working for a day, organized competitions in a new format. In addition! – says the message.

The meeting approved the principles of the formation of selection groups for centralized training of the Russian national ball and clay shooting teams for 2024 and a group of athletes for centralized training, as well as for participation in international competitions in 2023.

The 1976-2021 Olympic champions of both sports were on the lists of candidates for the state scholarship of the President of the Russian Federation.

The members of the Executive Committee approved the Ranking Rules and the Competition Rules for 2023. The Executive Committee also discussed financial matters: a report on the results of 2022 and a budget for the new year. It was noted that in 2022 all areas of activity were funded by sponsorship. From April to August 2022, when SSR accreditation was suspended, seven tournaments were held for a total of 51 million rubles.

The 2023 budget is planned on the basis of financing all areas of activity entirely at the expense of sponsorship. 34 all-Russian competitions are planned.
