Savitsky’s team overtook Kherson in the standings
Kremenchug beat Dnieper in his last match this year in Ukrainian Hockey League (UHL) — 5:4.
The start of the meeting in Kalush was postponed for 80 minutes due to air raid alert. After the teams took to the ice, the wards of Alexander Savitsky acted more effectively, scoring twice. However, Dnepr bounced back in the first period, scoring two goals in 17 seconds.
The productive game continued in the following periods. Kremenchug took the lead twice more. For the third time, the Kherson team failed to recoup. With a minimum gap three minutes before the end of the match, Dnipro got the majority and released the sixth field player, but failed to level the score.
Kremenchuk beats Dnepr for the first time this season, the previous three matches were in favor of Alexander Bobkin’s team. Wards Savitsky topped the UHL standings at least before the Sokol match.
Dnipro takes the third place. Bobkin’s team is one point behind Kremenchug, while playing two matches less.
