Ukrainians won back one position compared to the mass start

French biathletes Julie Simon and Fabien Claude became winners Christmas pursuitwhich took place in Gelsenkirchen at the Veltins Arena.

The French started the race with a lag of 25 seconds from the Norwegian mixed, but already after the first firing line, Simon took the lead. In the future, Julie and Fabien increased their advantage and won confidently.

Mass start winners Ingrid Landmark Tandrevold and Vetle-Sjastad Kristiansen took second place. “Bronze” – the representatives of Austria Lisa Teresa Hauser and Felix Leitner.

Ukrainian biathletes Yulia Dzhima and Anton Dudchenko took eighth place. The Ukrainians won back one position compared to the mass start.

Earlier, Ukrainians Oleksandra Merkushina and Vitaliy Mandzin won bronze in the junior race. The winner was the Norwegian duet Maren Bakken/Martin Uldal.
