The Ukrainian national team held the final sparring before the game with Scotland

Midfielder of the national team of Ukraine Ruslan Malinovsky commented on the team’s bilateral match at the training camp in Slovenia.

The sparring ended in a draw (1:1) – Roman Yaremchuk and Artem Dovbik scored. 22 players played in the match, Alexander Petrakov did not announce the line-ups.

“This is one of the moments of the preparation of the team, so it was necessary to give pace to this game, today there was a high intensity. Tomorrow we will resume and prepare for the game with Scotland, ”said Malinovsky.

“Before the game, they asked to treat it as official, so all the guys gave 100 percent. There were many moments. The main thing in this game was to physically endure 90 minutes and prepare some tactical moments, work out in defense, in attack.

The Ukrainian national team is completing preparations for the match with Scotland in the playoff semi-finals of the 2022 World Cup qualification. The meeting will take place on June 1 in Glasgow.

The winner of the match Scotland – Ukraine on June 5 will play in the final of the play-off with Wales.
