Usain Bolt said goodbye to Pelé, calling the Brazilian a legend and a king

Eight times Olympic champion and 11 times world sprint champion Usain Bolt expressed his condolences after the death of the three-time football world champion Pele .

Pelé died Thursday at the age of 82 after battling colon cancer. Earlier it became known that the Brazilian’s body stopped responding to chemotherapy.

– Sports legend. Rest in peace, King Pele,” Bolt wrote on social media.

Pelé is the only three-time football world champion (1958, 1962, 1970). He played 92 games for Brazil and scored 77 goals. At club level, the striker played for Brazilian Santos and New York Cosmos.
