The game is expected to release in 2023
Ukrainian studio GSC Game World introduced gameplay trailer games STALKER 2: Heart of Chernobyl.
The video demonstrates the main aspects of the game (battles with enemies, anomalies) and some characters. The plot will be connected with the Noosphere – the information field of the Earth.
The release of STALKER 2: Heart of Chernobyl was expected in 2022, but due to the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation in Ukraine, plans were changed. The game will release in 2023 on PC and Xbox Series X/S. Pre-order available at official website.
STALKER 2: Heart of Chernobyl will be a sequel to the STALKER: Shadow of Chernobyl (2007), STALKER: Clear Sky (2008) and STALKER: Call of Pripyat (2009) games.
Recall that Vladimir Yezhov, one of the developers of the STALKER series of games, recently died near Bakhmut. He worked on the creation of the game STALKER: Clear Sky, and his face became the prototype for the character Loki.
