Russian figure skater Egor Rukhin no longer trains in Alexander Volkov’s group. This “” said the coach himself.

Rukhin trained in the group of Eteri Tutberidze. In December 2021 he moved to Evgeni Plushenko, and in April he left the academy and began studying with Alexander Volkov. This season, Rukhin took seventh place (182.63 points) at the Moscow Stars Russian Grand Prix.

– We worked all summer, then Egor fell ill with the flu in a severe form and recovered for a very long time. We recently broke up – we didn’t quite agree on approaches to the training process. – It’s hard to say. He’s a good guy, talented. I have known Yegor since childhood, when he rode in my group with Sasha Trusova. They came at monthly intervals and grew up in Khrustalny.
