– Studies often become an additional discipline factor for an athlete. You have to find a balance between training and classes – it makes you grow and be more responsible.
– What I like the most is that I can’t think about sports all day. When only figure skating is part of your life, it gets boring, you start to cycle. It interferes.
— You study in the most complicated faculty of software engineering and computer science. Do you see your future in this field after a career in figure skating?
– Yes I see. I like solving programming problems. I develop my brain. It will be useful to you anyway. I understand that I can work in the computer field.
Since 2017, Goumennik has been training with Veronika Daineko at the Tamara Moskvina figure skating sports club.
