Group choreographer Eteri Tutberidze Alexey Zheleznyakov, in a conversation with , reacted to the fact that American composer Danny Elfman posted a video of the Russian woman’s show number Kamila Valieva.

Earlier, Elfman, who wrote the music for the “Wednesday” TV series, shared a video of Valieva’s performance on his social media. The musician noted the Russian woman and posted a link to the full rental recording. The figure skater skated in the image on Wednesday during demonstration performances at the Russian Championship in Krasnoyarsk.

– It’s good! I remember when Yulia Lipnitskaya was rolling a girl in a red coat from Schindler’s List. And then Steven Spielberg wrote him a letter. It was so discouraging that a person of such a level saw for himself the performance of our figure skater! And here too. The Hollywood composer, despite everything, regardless of politics and relations between countries, makes such a friendly gesture. People are still people. And everyone understands that there is no enmity between people, there is enmity between politicians. And when people from a hostile country show such friendly gestures, it’s always good. I am positive about such things. It is good that this is happening.

And Camila’s performance is very cool and creative. I like when the demos are skated – not boring stuff slathered in lyrical music, as they say, “snot and drool”, but when something interesting, creative, unusual and with good choreography. It would be great if there were more such numbers on demo shows, Zheleznyakov told .
