My third column was supposed to be about the Russian Championship. But, unfortunately, I fell ill and could not compete. It was very disappointing to miss this event, and I apologize to the fans who were expecting me in Krasnoyarsk. Until the last I was going to participate, but at the time of the short program I had a temperature of 39.5.

On December 28, I started a show – a fairy tale “Snow Maiden”. Therefore, immediately after returning from Krasnoyarsk, I went to rehearsals. They take place every day and end around 1-2 am. On the 27th, we rehearsed at 1 p.m.! It’s a new experience for me, I’m in a fairy tale for the first time, although I always wanted to participate in such shows. It seems to me that this is a special New Year’s atmosphere.
From December 28 to January 3, I will participate in the show “Snegurochka”, and from January 4 to 6 – in the show “Swan Lake”. They are both very interesting! In Snegurochka I do a lot of new things for me: elements of pair skating, ice dancing, flying and even pointe shoes. I will try to surprise and please everyone with my skating.
This year has been very busy and interesting for me. The most important event is, of course, the Olympic Games! It was incredibly exciting and difficult. It was very difficult to come together and perform at the maximum at the right time. I’m happy to have managed to do five quads at the Games. I will never forget that! Holidays in Dubai were also very memorable – for life. Our first joint vacation with Mark.
Yes, the summer has been very interesting. I tried different sports: long jump, pole vault, curling, hockey, football. I hope to try many more things in life. There have been a lot of shows this year, but I like to perform in front of the public.
