Averbukh spoke about the wishes of Russian skaters for 2023

2002 Olympics silver medalist in ice dancing, now a choreographer and director Ilya Averbukh congratulated Russian figure skaters on the New Year.

I wish all the guys a happy new year. The Figure Skating Federation and the guys are all great. They showed a very high bar, driving motivation and performance.

I want to maintain the highest form for as long as possible, to continue, even in absentia, to compete with the best figure skaters in the world. As well as in absentia to prove that we remain the headliners of figure skating. I wish everyone that reason prevails – and in 2023 the guys had the opportunity to participate in international competitions, – Averbukh is cited by the “Championship”.
