In case of failure to qualify for European competition, the club will decide to change
Atalanta considering sacking head coach Gian Piero Gasperini. The former head coach of Leipzig is considered a possible replacement at the club Domenico Tedesco.
Gasperini’s contract with Bergamasks runs until the summer of 2024. The club denies the possible dismissal of a specialist, however, missing out on European competition for next season may affect the decision of the board of directors.
Earlier it was reported that Gasperini’s plans do not include the Ukrainian midfielder of Atalanta Ruslan Malinovsky. At the same time, the specialist himself is in no hurry to sell the Ukrainian in the middle of the season, trying to save the entire team.
Atalanta are sixth in Serie A after losing their last three matches. The Bergamasks will resume the season on January 4 with a duel with Spezia.
