“For Tuktamysheva there are no boundaries in expressiveness” – Mishin team ballet teacher

Choreographer Elizaveta Navislavskaya, who works as a ballet teacher in Alexei Mishin’s team, explained in an interview with how work was going on the figure skater’s new free program Elisabeth Tuktamysheva .

In the free program “Loneliness” under the work of the same name by Igor Krutoy, the figure skater appears in the form of a blind girl who finds healing in the course of the story.

At the Russian Championship in Krasnoyarsk, Tuktamysheva won bronze.

— Your show reveals Lisa in a whole new style. She usually has a completely different story.

Lisa is so experienced that she can try anything. She is very plastic and musical, possesses the body perfectly. For her, there are no limits to expressiveness. I invent, and Lisa is always ready to try to implement my ideas, to harmonize them with complex elements. This is how our plastic finds are born.

When I came up with “Loneliness”, the main task was to reveal Lisa in this music. After all, everyone is used to one of his images, as well. But it is far from the only thing the skater is capable of. The way Liza skates this program, with such a level of feeling, hardly anyone could do it.

– At some point, Lisa changes – both with plasticity, and her eyes begin to work in a completely different way. This transition shows the contribution of a great player.

– We worked on this moment separately, it required special attention. There is a secret technique, but I insist: it would not work without the inner content. Lisa and I were just looking for a key to make this transition read well even for the back row viewer.
