In an interview with , choreographer Elizaveta Navislavskaya, who works as a ballet teacher in the team of Alexei Mishin, spoke about the importance of such a partnership concept in singles programs.

— Oh, for that, you have to read a whole course (laughs). There are four fundamental themes in plastic expressiveness, on which everything depends.

First, the instinctive perception of sound: sound generates sensation, the intonation of sound generates the intonation of movement. For example, Misha Kolyada perfectly hears music and knows how to get into it himself. Matvey [Ветлугин] and Lisa [Туктамышева] they are also musical – they just need to be directed in time, and they themselves will interpret everything exactly with musical accents.

The second is psychophysical openness, that is, freedom. It is very clearly visible on Zhenya [Семененко]: infinite freedom on the ice (in terms of expressiveness).
