The Russian Olympic Committee (ROC) wished the hospitalized Olympic champion Roman Kostomarov rapid victory over the disease.

Tatyana Navka told on Tuesday that Kostomarov, with whom she won ice dancing gold medals at the 2006 Olympics, was in intensive care. Later, Olympic silver medalist in ice dancing, now a choreographer and director of ice shows, Ilya Averbukh, said that Kostomarov was transferred to a clinical center in Kommunarka.

– We wish Olympic figure skating champion Roman Kostomarov a quick victory over illness and a speedy recovery! – says the message.
