This applies to all skaters in general, everyone must work hard and plow in order to feed and support their family. Also, it’s no secret that skaters end their careers very early, so it’s very sad. I had a case in my youth when, under a signed contract, I went out to dance at -25 degrees, and then warmed up in a tent, it was simply impossible. In such weather it is very difficult to perform tricks, then I tore the ligaments, which healed for a very long time.

And above all, we have no insurance, nothing for athletes or ballet dancers. There is only general medical insurance, but it gives nothing. An honored athlete, if anything happened to him, but he has no money, no savings, no connections, that doesn’t mean a thing. We must remember that the main thing is always health, always think about where you are fussing. At 30 degrees below zero, you can’t ride for money. Again, I wish Roman a speedy recovery.
