RUSADA included Shubenkov in the national pool of doping tests

The Russian Anti-Doping Agency (RUSADA) has included in the national doping control pool the world champion in the 110m hurdles Sergei Shubenkov according to the press service of the All-Russian Athletics Federation (ARAF).

European pole vault silver medalist Timur Morgunov and World High Jump Championship silver medalist Mikhail Akimenko also entered the trial group.

At the beginning of the year, these athletes were excluded from the international target group of World Athletics. Earlier, world long jump silver medalist Daria Klishina, who gave birth to her second child, was excluded from the international pool.

The international trial group includes Reykhan Kagramanova, Sergey Kozhevnikov, Anton Kurbatov, Elena Lashmanova, Margarita Nikiforova (all walking races) and Andrey Romanov (hammer throw).
