Athlete Litvinov suspended for two years for anti-doping rule violation

russian athlete Sergei Litvinov speaking in the hammer throw, was disqualified for two years for violating anti-doping rules, reports the press service of the All-Russian Athletics Federation (ARAF).

This decision was made based on data from the Moscow Anti-Doping Laboratory (LIMS).

The disqualification period for an athlete is from November 8, 2021 to November 7, 2023. Additionally, Litvinov’s results, presented from July 14, 2012 to February 25, 2016, are subject to cancellation.

As part of the 2014 European Championship, Litvinov became a bronze medalist.
