Six Russian athletes disqualified for anti-doping rule violation

Six Russian athletes have been disqualified for anti-doping rule violations based on data from the Moscow Anti-Doping Laboratory (LIMS), according to the All-Russian Athletics Federation (ARAF) website.

Discus Thrower Suspended for Use or Attempted Use of a Prohibited Substance or Prohibited Method Ekaterina Strokova shot putter Evgenia Kolodko runners Elena Churakova , Anastasia Kapashinskaya and Evgenia Polyakova as well as the shot putter Anton Luboslavsky .

Strokova, Lyuboslavsky and Polyakova were disqualified for four years, Churakova and Kolodko – for two years. An additional period of disqualification does not apply to Kapacinskaya. Previously, Kolodko, Churakova and Kapacinskaya had already been disqualified for anti-doping rule violations.
