The President of the Krasnodar Territory Figure Skating Federation Vladimir Melekhin in a conversation with commented on the information about the possible transfer of the Grand Prix final from Sochi to St. Petersburg.
Earlier, the president of the St. Petersburg Figure Skating Federation, Olympic champion Anton Sikharulidze said that the issue of transferring the Russian Grand Prix final from Sochi to St. Petersburg was under discussion.
– We do not make decisions regarding the transfer of Grand Prix Finals to St. Petersburg. All questions are handled by the Russian Figure Skating Federation (FFKKR). The transfer problem is ongoing. And we are just waiting for the final decision from the federation,” Melekhin told .
The FFKKR told that there is currently no information on the postponement of the Grand Prix final.
The Grand Prix final in adults is scheduled for March 3-5, in juniors – from March 1-3.
