The Russian Anti-Doping Agency (RUSADA) must reimburse 100,000 rubles in arbitration fees to former State Duma deputy and honored athletics coach Olga Pavlova following the decision in the case, said to a source familiar with the matter.
RUSADA’s Anti-Doping Disciplinary Commission previously disqualified Pavlova for violating All-Russian Anti-Doping Rules Paragraph 2.6 (Possession of a Prohibited Substance or Prohibited Method). However, the National Sports Arbitration Center lifted his disqualification.
“The court also decided to recover expenses from RUSADA Pavlova for arbitration costs in the amount of 100,000 rubles,” the source said.
As previously reported, RUSADA accused Pavlova of acquiring potent substances banned in sports from another athletic trainer. The trainer who distributed the substances has already been disqualified by RUSADA for four years and prosecuted.
