Honored athletic trainer, deputy of the State Duma of the 7th convocation (2016-2020) Olga Pavlova is glad that her representatives managed to prove the line of defense, thanks to which her disqualification was canceled.
RUSADA’s Anti-Doping Disciplinary Commission previously disqualified Pavlova for violating All-Russian Anti-Doping Rules Paragraph 2.6 (Possession of a Prohibited Substance or Prohibited Method). However, the National Sports Arbitration Center lifted his disqualification.
“I am very happy with this decision. Our national arbitration is very professional. The lawyers who have worked with me know their stuff. I am happy that we have managed to prove the line of our defence. I know that many people worried about me, because I have a long history in the sport. I didn’t want to disappoint those who supported me and treated me well,” Pavlova told .
As previously reported, RUSADA accused Pavlova of acquiring potent substances banned in sports from another athletic trainer. The trainer who distributed the substances has already been disqualified by RUSADA for four years and prosecuted.
