Sergei Kostomarov, father of Olympic figure skating champion Roman Kostomarov, spoke to about his son’s condition.

The hospitalization of Kostomarov, 45, was announced on January 10. A source told on Thursday that doctors are considering disconnecting the former skater from the extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO) machine as his condition has improved.
