Honored Coach of the USSR in Figure Skating Alexei Mishin admitted that Elizaveta Tuktamysheva I have never been so ready for a competition as for the Russian Championship organized in Krasnoyarsk.
At the Krasnoyarsk tournament, Tuktmysheva won bronze, losing to Sofya Akatieva and Kamila Valieva.
– Lisa, after a free skate, said that bronze was more valuable to her than silver eight years ago. And for you?
“For me, maybe too. To be frank, Lisa was never ready for competitions in her sports life like she was for this Russian championship. I was only worried about one thing – that Lisa would be able to maintain the composure she showed in previous starts this season. Lisa was good before this tournament, she skated with confidence in Novogorsk training camp before leaving.
