Stanislav Konstantinov didn’t achieve what she wanted in her career, it was clear she wouldn’t return to the sport, Russian figure skater Katarina Gerboldt told RB Sport.
Konstantinova previously announced her retirement at the age of 22.
– Stanislava spoke quite brightly. Probably, she did not achieve what she wanted and planned in her career, but, of course, she has achievements. However, it was clear that she would not return.
She plans to become a coach. Will she succeed?
– Not every athlete can be a coach, so it is difficult to answer this question. Now many people want to be coaches, but it’s quite difficult. It’s possible that she needs some time to prove herself, and even then we can talk about that.
Konstantinova is the silver medalist of the 2018/19 Grand Prix stage in Finland, she also won bronze at the Krasnoyarsk Universiade. At the 2019 European Championships, the figure skater took fourth place.
