Figure skater Anastasia Zinina spoke about the state of health after an unsuccessful fall during a tournament in Moscow.
The athlete on Saturday while performing the triple lutz fell and landed unsuccessfully on her left thigh. Zinina could not get up on her own, doctors and coaches helped her.
– I want to say a huge thank you to all my skater friends who wrote me words of support, and to all my fans who care so much for me.
I did all the research I needed. Fortunately, there are no fractures, there is a severe bruise and, in connection with this, swelling of the tissues. Unfortunately, I need bed rest, so I have to stay in the hospital for a week. I am extremely sorry that I cannot continue the fight, but I wish my team to win. May good luck always be with you,” Zinina wrote on social media.
