“The third stage was more difficult, the legs weren’t the same” – cyclist Valgonen on the victory in the Czech Republic

Russian cyclist Valeria Valgonen said she sees the Russian multi-day race championship as a responsible start and wants to complete it to the end.

Valgonen won the overall multi-day track race. It was in this discipline that the medals were played at the Russian Championship in St. Petersburg. The second was Anna Terekh (Belarus), the third – Maria Averina.

“It’s the first start of the year. In charge, the preparation was better than it happens at the end of the season. At the third stage, the legs were no longer the same, the first two entered much more easily, but they had to be tweaked to the end. The next starting block is also in St. Petersburg, then we will go to the training camp in Turkey, then there will be races in March in Adygea. So during this period there will already be preparation for the road and road races. It’s too early to think about ambitions on the motorway this season, you have to finish first with the competition’s track block, Valgonen told .
