On Sunday, Russian national team head coach Elena Chaikovskaya confirmed to that the Russian Grand Prix final has been moved from Sochi to Saint Petersburg.
– This is very good news for all figure skating fans. Saint Petersburg deserves to host competitions of the highest level. It is especially gratifying that among the participants in the Grand Prix Final there will be many students of the St. Petersburg Figure Skating School. The Russian Grand Prix finals and the All-Russian Federation Cup finals will be held on the ice rink of the Yubileiny sports complex.
The juniors will compete from March 1 to 3, and the masters from March 3 to 5. I’m sure the public will support their favorite athletes and the stands at the sports complex will be full.
