The state of health of the Olympic figure skating champion Roman Kostomarova remains stable, there is no change, a source told .
The hospitalization of Kostomarov, 45, was announced on January 10. Earlier, a source told that doctors were considering disconnecting the former skater from the extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO) machine as his condition had improved.
“There is no change in the condition, it remains stable,” a source familiar with the situation told .
Kostomarov, together with Tatyana Navka, won the gold medal at the 2006 Games, became two-time world champion and three-time European champion.
