group trainer Tamara Moskvina Artur Minchuk said his athletes were happy with the transfer of the Russian Grand Prix of figure skating final from Sochi to St. Petersburg.
The Russian Figure Skating Federation (FFKKR) previously announced that the Russian Grand Prix Final will be held March 3-5 at the Yubileiny Sports Palace in St. Petersburg.
“Of course, that’s good news. In any case, playing at home, in front of your audience, is always better. Besides, you don’t have to fly, sit an extra day and to wait for training and competition. The kids are delighted and so are we. We are trying to perform well not only at home. But I think the guys will be encouraged by their hometown,” Minchuk told .
