RUSADA expects to receive the full text of the anti-doping committee’s decision in the Valieva case this week

Russian Anti-Doping Agency (RUSADA) head Veronika Loginova told reporters that the organization should receive the full text of the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) decision in the near future.

RUSADA informed WADA that it had rendered a decision on the Valieva case. It was acknowledged that although she committed an anti-doping rule violation, there was “no fault or negligence on her part”. Valieva escaped penalties other than disqualification of her results as of the date of collection (December 25, 2021).
