Clothing with this symbol is included in the list of prohibited items at the Australian Open-2023
At the quarterfinal match Australian Open 2023 between a Serb Novak Djokovic and Russian Andrey Rublev one of the fans in the stands was in a T-shirt with a Z symbol.
Clothing items displaying a white Z are on the Australian Open 2023 banned list.
Earlier, Ukrainian Ambassador to Australia Vasily Miroshnichenko appealed to the organizers of the Australian Open-2023 with a request to respond to the demonstration of the Russian flag during the match between Ukrainian Katerina Beindl and Russian Kamilla Rakhimova.
Recall that Djokovic defeated Rublev and reached the semi-finals of the Australian Open-2023.
👀 And just like that … we believe this is the 1st display of the Z symbol of Russia’s war on Ukraine at the international tennis tournament.
🤔 Looks like he was hiding it under the white t-shirt huh? pic.twitter.com/iG6Z0wtdkq
