Ukrainian athletes Yaroslav Maguchy and Irina Gerashchenko occupied two first places in the high jump on World Athletics Indoor Tour Bronze in German Cottbus.
Maguchih became the winner of the tournament, jumping 1.98 m on the first attempt. She also tried to overcome the bar at a height of 2.02 m, but could not succeed.
Gerashchenko placed second in Cottbus with a jump of 1.96m.
Previously, Maguchy won the Aleksey Demjanjuk Memorial by clearing the bar at a height of 2.00 meters. This is the best result of the 2023 season in the world. Gerashchenko is in second place (1.93 m).
